Dear Sirs,

Some few days ago your Mr. Whyman was good enough to discuss with Mr. Skellon of our Burton Works the question of rubber covered accelerator pedals, and following this we have been going carefully into the question of moulding rubber pedals directly to the metal.

For this purpose we have had the loan of a complete accelerator pedal.

It will be possible for us to mould a rubber pad directly to these pedals at an economical price after first providing a certain amount of equipment, which, however, would merely be required in the initial stages. This cost, therefore, would not recur in connection with any subsequent orders.

Our quotation is as follows:-

Moulding Rubber Pads directly to your Accelerator Pedals, approx. 5000 per annum. ... 54/-d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} per 100 plus 5%. ex Works.

Part cost of special equipment required for initial order. £15:0:0d. extra Nett.

This quotation is of course subject to our usual settlement terms of 3¾% for cash in 7 days, or 2½% monthly account.
