To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4228 BY/Shn7/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}11.10.23. RE 20 HP CHASSIS - CARBURETTER FILTER. We hear from the Order Office that all 20 HP Carburetter filters up-to-date, have been made in Monel metal, whereas our drawing E.51763 and supervision sheet call for Brass. Monel metal was used in your early chassis and up to No.250 production chassis, but you requested a change to a coarser mesh in brass, to give a better petrol flow. Do you agree to stock monel metal being used, or should we insist on Brass coarse mesh being obtained? BY/Shn. | ||
