HYDRAULIC DAMPERS LOR.FR.46A & LOR.FR.321. FITTED WITH HAND CONTROL TO E.H.3941. FRONT DAMPER SUPPORT PLATE. H.S.3972.

The dampers were run with the maximum loads to find out any weakness in the dampers and anchorage.

The maximum loads gave absolute control of the car at high speeds. The riding in the rear seats was the most steady and perfect riding yet attained. It could not be improved, but will not be reproduced by an automatic control to the dampers.

The anchorages of the dampers gave no trouble and were perfectly tight at the finish of the mileage. Oil leaks were negligible.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

The controlled dynamo gave no trouble, and the output was equal to all drainage from the battery.

Lucas Combined Tail & Stop Lamp. Two Pin Plug and adapter fitted to frame.

The internal reflector became detached towards the finish of the mileage, otherwise the combined unit was satisfactory.

Instrument Board.

Lightened type instruments to R.M.Sch;552 fitted

The trip indications figure unit was a source of trouble and failed after being replaced. It is not satisfactory.
