Dear Sirs,
We are forwarding you herewith revised mask or dial for the instrument which we fitted to Mr. Royce's car last week. There was a slight mistake with regard to the size of the words "Galls." and "Litres" at the top, also "Patent" and dial number "155" at the bottom of the original dial.
We think that if you will put this new dial in the instrument, you will see that it looks much better than the one previously sent.
We understand that owing to the urgency of the job, we shall not be able to follow the car to the coach-builders, and that our installation representative left the unions and the gauge itself capped off, so that the air line and balance line can be installed on the chassis, and coupled
