For the Attention of Mr. Steadman.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 22nd inst., reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.2/JH.

We are glad to note that you agree that we should not submit a Mark VI Matrix for test by the Harrison Radiator Corporation until we have our machine at work. We shall certainly keep you informed as to the progress of this machine.

We enclose a schedule of weights which have been taken from a series of experimental matrices. We find that there is a variation of at least plus or minus 3% in the weight of production cores. This variation is accounted for by a slight variation in the rolling of the strip and also in the amount of solder picked up. You are of course familiar with these conditions.

Thank you for the correction in the report recently submitted.

Yours faithfully,

For JOHN MARSTON, Limited,
Howard Southall
Works Engineer.

Encl.
