Messrs John Marston & Co. Ltd.,
Wolverhampton.

For the attention of Mr Southall.

Dear Sirs,

We have received your letter of the 17th instant for which we thank you, and agree that it would be advisable to defer the test of your Mark VI block by the Harrison radiator corporation, until you are able to manufacture this type of block by machine. We trust that you will inform us as soon as this is the case.

As a matter of interest, we should like to know the relative weights of Marston Mark V and Mark VI blocks of the same overall dimensions - in the case of 84 m.m. and in the case of 52 m.m. deep blocks - this should be obtainable by direct weighing of your test blocks. If you could forward these weights together with the other weight figures which you are sending us, we should be grateful.

With regard to the altitude analysis duty we sent you, we would point out that an error has occured on the last printed sheet.

The example illustrating the effect applies to the 3rd radiator on second sheet of curves and not to the first radiator as stated.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LTD.
