X1152 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG. 6th. June, 1921. D.C. Defries Esq., 41 New Bond Street, London W.1. Dear Sir, We are returning to you herewith Blue Prints which you kindly loaned to us, Re. Houdaille Shock Absorbers. We find that it is not going to be an easy job to fit these Shock Absorbers to the rear of the 40/50 Rolls-Royce Car. The difficulty is, we have a very big range of move on our rear springs. We find that we have a set of your shock absorbers in stock which have never been used; we got them in 1914. We are arranging to fit this set on to a chassis and will let you know the results. Yours faithfully, | ||
