In the absence of Mr. Boden I am acknowledging your letter of the 19th January addressed to him at the Castle Bromwich Aeroplane Factory.

I expect Mr. Boden will write you in the course of a post or two but I am writing now to let you know that Friday the 26th January will not be a convenient date for him to meet you.
