Ltd., Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa, WARWICKS. For the attention of Mr.Parnell. Dear Sirs, As requested by Mr.Parnell, we enclose two views of the hydraulic unit we propose to use on our cars. Will you please treat these drawings as confidential. The load on the plunger ends will reach 2,000 lbs: the load on the 1" dia. plunger will thus be 635 lbs., or the pressure 810 lbs/sq.in. which we think is within your limits of safety. The piston travel is 0.750". We are waiting for the drawings you promised to send of the 1.25" dia. integral tank type master cylinder for side fixing, and the detail drawings of the 1" dia. wheel cylinder cup rubber, spreader and spring; our drawing office cannot finish the scheme until they arrive.
