For the attention of G.H.Grylls, Esq.

18th November, 1938.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to our letter of the 11th November and the writer's conversation yesterday, we have pleasure in confirming that the 2, 5.50x16 wheels fitted with 6.50-16 special Fort tyres are being despatched to you today.

Certain difficulties are being experienced on the building of the 2, 5.00x17 wheels, and on present indications it would appear that they will not be ready for approximately fourteen days.

It is hoped that this delay will not seriously inconvenience your tests.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.

Manager,
Car Manfrs. Division.

P.S. I would confirm that the special tyres have been branded with the letter 'S' on the side wall. I have also determined that they should require a reduction in pressure of 2 lbs"sq. inch in order to give cushioning value equivalent to the 6.50-17 Fort on the 4.00 rim, or the 6.50-16 Fort on the 4.50 rim.
