X-3589. BY/RD. c.HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c.BY/HLB. BYL/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 23.6.27. 20 HP. CHASSIS. STARTER MOTOR. With reference to the scheme which we put in hand, which would enable us to supply a cork fitted up to a small plate, instead of having to supply the rather large unit at present necessary, the scheme being incorporated in drawings D.51364/5, please note that the Experimental Dept. are in agreement with the proposal, and that we should therefore bring it in for "L" Series, earlier if possible. There will be some little matter of the tool question arising, but it is a small matter, and I think we should treat it as an urgent issue because it will cheapen replacements very considerably.
