FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR C.S.STEADMAN

Dear Sirs,

We acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 15th inst, and would explain that the letter addressed to Messrs Bentley Motors Ltd and which has come to your notice is one of a series sent out to major car manufacturers, in order to obtain an idea of the potential market for the unit in question. We regret that by an oversight it was sent to Messrs Bentleys, and that as a consequence you have been troubled.

We thank you for the information you have given us with regard to the use of the unit, but would explain that the cost of same will entirely depend upon the total annual market, and when we are in a position to estimate and fix the cost, we will again communicate with you.

Under separate cover we are sending back the Harrison unit, and thank you very much indeed for giving us the opportunity of examining this.

Yours faithfully,

THE DRAYTON REGULATOR & INSTRUMENT COMPANY LTD
