NOTES ON PUBLICITY. ①. The Paulin Bentley was 13 M.P.H. faster than the Paris trials car. ②. Its consumption per hour was the same i.e. it would use 15% less petrol and thus require less fill ups. ③. Therefore, though we believe we could average 100 M.P.H for 24 Hrs on the Paulin, it is obvious that on any similar stunt the standard car would be 13 M.P.H. slower. ④. Would 24 hours at 87 M.P.H. interest anyone? We consider it would give Lagondas a good laugh as they would compare it with their figure of 108. ⑤. If the Paulin were used, we might be able to beat the Bentley best figure of a lap at 108 during the run. | ||
