S/W. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From PN.{Mr Northey} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} COPY. X> 820. X.4050. X.7820. X.5820. PN.{Mr Northey}3/WT8.8.30. The set of the latest type of silent tread Dunlop tyres (Experimental) which have beeen run on 1-WJ has given encouraging results. The non-slipping qualities undoubtedly compare a bit better than with the original silent type, and any sound made is not of an irritating varying-pitched description. We feel that these treads are proably the best which we have yet tested from all points of view. Will you please let us know what steps have been taken with a view to standardising this new type of tread, and how the matter stands generally. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
