3. S. I. SPECTRECodename for Phantom III.

The troubles as fully reported on the front suspension, are as follows :-

A) The tie which the rubber buffer hits of the top yoke levers, fouls the bleeding screws on compression; a packing piece of a 1/4 inch thick, has been attached to it, to lessen the buffer clearance. It now just touches the bleeding set screws.

B) OIL LEAKS.
I definately said a 1/4 pint of oil was lost from the dampers, not the damper control unit.

C) Bottom wishbone levers, are hitting the underside of the frame on the rebound, more clearance is required or less buffer clearance.

D) Nothing has been said of side clearance of wishbone levers.

E) The leak of oil comes from joint of the unit to the frame.

F) The lowering of the rear springs .875 will over-come the metallic fouling, and softer and longer buffers will help matters.
No, the alterations will not over-come the suspension troubles. The rear Axle jagger, spoils the ride in the rear of the Car.

We told you, we proved it, that the Cadillac roll rod mounted in rubber blocks, connecting links, etc., stopped the jagger of the Axle, and gave a smoother ride in the Car.

We will tell you before you have tried it, that you will say it doesnt do anything.
