and Oil 110°c. We will disconnect the water cooler, and give you the results.

We have been studying the lay-out of the Engine bottom half, and in our opinion, half of its area, is not being cooled by the position it is in, with regard to the air flow under the Car.

The mass of the front anchorage, is approximately 6" lower than the bottom half of the Engine, which taking a straight edge, does not strike the lower half of the Engine, until half way to the rear. This means that practically no air is reaching the first half of the lower half, and so a valuable cooling effect is being lost.

We are trying to find out a scheme of diverting an air stream on to it, but we think, the lower half, could with advantage be dropped lower at the front end.

We will let you have results of the various tests, as soon as it is practically possible.
