Dr. J.C. Morrison,
The University,
G L A S G O W.

Dear Dr. Morrison,

Thank you for your letter of the 25th June.

Replying to the second paragraph, at the moment we are under the impression that we are going out of our way to give you information which might be of technical interest to you.

Realising the complexity of the silencing problem, we took the trouble to put our position to you as clearly as we could on the 15th July 1937, and we attach a copy of this letter. We would particularly draw your attention to the third paragraph on the second page. We cannot appreciate that there is any ambiguity about this letter, and, under the circumstances, feel that your recent letter might have been better worded.

Yours faithfully,
