My dear C.J.,

Referring to the new chassis that we are buying for educational purposes, I think it would be better if these were thoroughly overhauled by myself, Bailey, Barrington, Nadin, Spinney & Elliott as well as Platford, because each one would probably see something belonging to his department, and I have generally found that there something to learn even from a poor job.
