(4) (16) New Steering Wheel. This point can only be reported upon by the driver. General. The body noises and rattles are particularly objectionable, but seemed to be caused almost entirely by the road vibrations. The chassis vibrations did not cause any appreciable noises in the body. I think if the running of a car is to be observed efficiently, it is very necessary to keep down these body rattles, as these obliterate every other noise and prevent these observations being made.
