Bentley Bumper Bar.

Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/E22.7.35. We tried B-2-CW. on Thursday, the 25th inst, with JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} We agree that the Bumper Bar did not make as much difference as we expected, in fact less than on any other car on which we have tried the bumper.

We recommend that the cross member should be fitted between the head lamps and we should like to have the opportunity of trying the car again when this has been done.

With regard to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/D29.7.35; so far we have not contemplated using the Bumper Bar as a stabiliser, and therefore this will be an ordinary fitting.
