Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Sovereign Mills,
Chapel-en-le-Frith,
England.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Field.

We thank you for the opportunity of testing further sets of your oil impregnated brake lining.

We should like to know when you could let us have the 3 remaining sets as we are very anxious to get this material on as many cars as possible to confirm the present advantages which we seem to obtain from it.

We find that the material you sent us for our 40/50 HP. clutch, which is also impregnated with oil of some description, appears to have a number of definite advantages over our present lining. We are therefore desirous of trying 3 sets of this lining on our standard clutches, i.e. 6 discs of friction material to drawings G.73777 and G.73743.

We should be obliged if you could let us know how soon we are likely to obtain these clutch linings.

We hope shortly to be able to give you some information as to the wearing qualities of the experimental brake lining which we are putting through a long endurance test.

Yours faithfully,
