Messrs.Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, London N.W.10. Confidential. Dear Sirs, Re: Bentley 2.B.5.)-(8.B.5)± It has been reported from France that after 9,374 miles the following defects have occurred:- (1) The felt strip has come away around the screen recess. We are suggesting the use of an external rubber seal in connection with a more rigid frame. (2) Accumulation of dust on shelf behind rear seat squab is thought to indicate dust, and hence fumes, entering the body from the rear boot, or from the base of the squab. We would be glad if you would look into these matters and give us your views when we call on you next week. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. A M Harvey Bailey CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS. | ||
