From GWH to Mr. Hives regarding unsatisfactory gaiters fitted to new type front springs.

GAITERS FITTED TO NEW TYPE FRONT SPRINGS. These are entirely unsatisfactory both on the springs and at the rear. The springs are fitted with four spring clips which the Gaiters do not cover underneath, making them neither dirt-tight or oil-tight.
