X1270 SO Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.22/KW. 30th December, 1935. Messrs. Gallay Limited, 103-109, Scrubs Lane, Willesden, LONDON, N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. L.T. Delaney. Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 23rd inst., and have received the Bentley radiator fitted with Gallay matrix. As, however, we may not be able to get satisfactory tests on this radiator for some while, we should like to know whether you would be willing to supply us (at your expense) with a test block (17 1/2" square) of your 50 m.m. two row matrix for rig tests. This would greatly accelerate our comparisons of radiator matrices, and enable us to check up the improvement to be gained by increasing the water flow. We are awaiting with interest the oil cooler and heat dissipation figures which you have promised to send us. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
