Excessive oil consumption in various car models, with a suggestion to order new scraper rings.

(3 sets off). You may be interested to know that the oil consumption of our 25/30 h.p. Trials Car GUL-82 is, I am informed by RC{R. Childs}, averaging only between 400-500 m.p.g. Yesterday JLE{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} reported much the same result to me with cars on test. It would be interesting to us to know the reason of this apparently excessive consumption of oil, seeing that the P.III is averaging II00, and the 20/25's have in the past averaged a very much higher figure than the one reported above, namely, in the case of GBJ-18 I000 m.p.g. and GBJ-16 about 700.
