1379 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Bentley Publicity Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}14/E8239 Referring to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.26/1/39 this is just to confirm what was said yesterday, namely that we should go ahead with our plans for the 24 hours' attempt, it being clear that in any case it could not be done before about the end of March. We want to bear in mind Easter so as to avoid the publicity coming just about the time of the Easter holiday. With regard to George Eyston, we must insure him personally as well as Denly. We can risk the actual car but we must insure against third party risk. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
