P & R BATTERIES IN 6 VOLT UNITS.

Would you kindly note the following extract from a letter I have received from Mr. Minchin of Messrs. Peto & Radford :-
"We have repeatedly pointed out to your people that this design is all right for making a few experimental batteries and using them experimentally but that the woodwork is too thin to make a proper job of it and we do not consider it a commercial article to put into the hands of ordinary owners. The woodwork must be slightly thicker and you must give us a little more space in the containing box. Your people always ignore this remark and we do not want you to get so far committed to this battery as to thinking it is a thing that could be standardised as it is. The containing case is not a good enough job."

We are in agreement regarding the thinness of the side woodwork of the battery cases.
