Dear Grylls.

I have had a letter from Mr.Cowen saying I am to deliver my Bentley Car to you at Derby when I leave for South Africa. No doubt you will be disposing of this Car in the near future, and I should like to confirm that the mechanical condition of the Car seem to be good, also the performance is well up to standard.
There are a few rattles and shakes on the body and chassis which no doubt you can easily overcome. The luggage door at the rear rattles rather badly -- Both front windows are stiff and do not open properly. Also the screen wipers have just ceased to work.
I shall be awfully grateful if you will be good enough to personally keep in touch with the new Car that is going through for me, and do everything possible to see that she is a really good chassis.
With kindest regards.

Yours sincerely.

Raymond Mays (signature)

P.S. All being well the Car will be delivered to you on Monday morning next the 15th inst.
