----------

Arrangements have been made to supply Raymond Mays with a new Bentley, we taking his present car, B-24.GA in exchange.

B-24.GA has special brake drums, chromium plated wheels and Mellotone horns, and all these are to be transferred to the new chassis with the possible exception of the Mellotone horns.

If, to transfer these would disfigure the old car B-24.GA, they can remain in position and we will have new horns of the same pattern mounted on the new chassis.

We have already asked Raymond Mays to send the old car to the works when he is finished with it and we expect it to come along in about a week's time, when it will report to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls} who has already been advised of the arrangement to transfer the brake drums and wheels to the new chassis and of what we have in mind about the Mellotone horns.

We are now asking Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls} when he has finished with the old car B-24.GA to pass it over to you so that you may have it tested and satisfy yourself it is mechanically sound, and fit for us to offer for sale.

When you have had a chance to test the car will you be good enough to tell us what you think of it and when you think it will be ready to come to London for sale.

We will tackle any work necessary to the body when the car eventually arrives here.
