PISTON SCRAPER RINGS.

Dimensions of the perfect circle ring fitted to our various engines are as follows

A further modification to both types of Kestrel rings that has improved the oil consumption is a .015" chamfer on the top edge.

At 4000 r.p.m. 1 pt/hr.
At 4750 r.p.m. 1 1/4 pts/hr. = .0215 pts/BHP/Hr.
