re Peregrine Pistons.
--------------------
This confirms our conversation of this morning that you are going ahead with the dies for the die-cast pistons on Peregrine.
We should like to have as few of the sand castings as possible as with the fine dimensions required on this small piston the irregularities of the sand castings are too great and lead to local distortions with consequent poor bedding and hard spots on the skirts.
