U.S.A. it is very probable, under their winter conditions, it would be an advantage to have extra oil. At the moment we have prepared the larger crank with connecting rods to suit, but we shall either have to fit this to the^a 'China' engine in order to get it tested or to one of the experimental 'Japan' type. There is also the question of thermostat operated shutters for 25 HP. which we have received no instructions for. We are fitting the radiator lower in the frame. It would also appear necessary to get out a scheme for carrying the central oiling to the axles as on Phantom 11. Another important feature is that we have now standardised the rubber engine mounting for the 20 HP. We should like to steady the rear end of the gearbox as on Phantom 11. At the moment there is more movement than we like on the gear-box and pedals. We also need instructions for the double charge scheme for the 25 HP. The point has been missed that the petrol tank filler on the 25 HP. should be the same as the Phantom 11. We have sympathy with this. As we wish 18-G4 to represent the future production 25 HP. car we should like a specification from W.W. of exactly what parts they would like fitted to this car. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
