The body for this car is actually ready. It was instructed by W.W. We have a specification for completing the chassis and the work is in hand, but, in view of your recent remarks on the 25 HP. we think it is very probable that you would like to revise this. As regards the 'Japan' engine. All the parts on the 'Japan' engine that we are using were designed and made for the 3" bore 20 HP. The design needs revision for 3¼" bore. At the present time we cannot fit our 'Japan' cylinders and head to the standard crankcase owing to the fact that on the standard engine the stud centres have been increased. There are also one or two other decisions to be made as regards features on the engine. It has to be decided whether we wish to fit the extra oil on to the 25 HP. From our experience we have very much less trouble with the 25 HP. compared with the Phantom but if any number of these cars are to be used in | ||
