Mr Royce Re special Throttle and Low Speed throat valve for overcoming explosions in the silencer. ----------------- I send you attached two schemes of your suggested device. Scheme A is in accordance with your rough sketch in which the stalk for the valve is screwed in by means of a screw-driver through the stem of the throttle and then locked by means of a small pin. Mr Elliott has shown an alternative scheme marked B in which the valve can be attched to its stalk after the stalk has been screwed into the throttle by means of a hexagon. In this case the stalk is locked by a lock washer. In order to bring the throat central with the valve in each case, it is necessary to modify very slightly the mechanism for preventing the spindle Handwritten notes: X93 File | ||
