For the attention of Mr. W.A. Robotham. Dear Mr. Robotham, Thank you for your letter of the 18th inst. relative to 14 m/m plugs. I did not anticipate that the H14. would have materially greater resistance to pre-ignition than the standard C3. plug. If you require a plug to withstand more heat I should certainly recommend the A15., and I think this plug could probably be modified to give you as good slow running as the S14. The A15. plug is naturally a more expensive type than either the S14. or the H14., but for a car of the quality which you produce I am of the opinion that it is well worth while fitting the best type of plug available, irrespective of cost within reason. The A15. plug would cost approximately the same as the A2., and if this is not looked upon as too expensive I would certainly recommend the A15., which in the long run would probably be the cheapest plug because it would have a greater life than either the S14. or the H14. If there is anything further we can do to assist you in this matter please let me know. Yours faithfully, Bernard Hopps DIRECTOR. RECTORS: J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} ALFRED HOPPS. BERNARD HOPPS.
