ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 401-8-12-24) MP 306978 V8860 To E.F.B. Order No. WC19. Customer's No. Maconite H.T wires on 10GIII. With 10GIII completing a 10000 mile test in France these wires have now done 20,000 miles running on chassis 9GIII and 10GIII (about 10000 miles on each chassis). No failure has been reported and we should like these wires to be replaced by new ones, so that they can be tested along with several other samples of maconite which we have for that. We shall then have sufficient data to make a final report as to its claimed superiority. Signed H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
