Because it is the intention that this car and the Binder shall be unsold before the Salon, we can have the design according to our wishes. I suggest that to accept the FORD V.8 design would be a pity, because Kellner's are turning out 6 per week and the special gestures are associated with that car.

(o). OTHER BENTLEY CARS AT THE SALON.
Kellner's Stand - B.62-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

There appeared to be no decision made as to what they would shew on this chassis, but I gathered that it would be a Coupe of the FORD V.{VIENNA} 8 pattern. This is the only other Bentley up-to-date.

(2) ROLLS-ROYCE STAND.

(a) Phantom 2 - Barker 68-SK - Continental Touring Saloon.

This body is one of the next batch of Standardised Barker Continental Touring saloons.

(b) 25 H.P. ROLLS-ROYCE GAE-2. (Poberejesky).

This is a close-coupled Saloon with a vertically dropping division, specially desired by the owner. It is quite a nice looking car. Work is held up pending the receipt of a chassis print for GAE-2, or a note to say that the previous chassis print can be worked to.

(c) OTHER ROLLS-ROYCE CARS.

No-one had come to any definite decision as to what they would shew and in some cases, whether they would shew at all.

CONCLUSIONS RE SALON

The preparations re the Salon are still very much in the air. I propose keeping in close touch with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} and Dr. and to suggest to you a second visit in about a month's time, the actual date depend-ing on recommendations received from Paris.

(3) COACHWORK IN GENERAL.

(a) Binder - (Rue Collisee).
