re:- Visit to Paris.

(1). THE SALON.
(a). Bentley Stand (Binder) B.24.BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

It is now agreed that we show a Bentley 4 Door Saloon, which is to be a Binder edition of our latest standardised Saloon by Park Ward. They have a similar body in hand for a customer and we modified the full size drawing, so that the result could be the drawing of the body for the Saloon. We were too late to alter much of the customer's body.

The interior dimensions were quite wrong and the shape poor. They appear to have taken little notice of the Park Ward drawing which was supplied. To make certain they do work to this I am sending them another print via Dr.

(b). BENTLEY STAND - KELLNER - B.24.BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

The Kellner body was to be a Drop Head Coupe built up from the design they have standardised for the V.8 FORD. They have a body in hand to this design for M.Dubonnet.

I suggest that it is very inferior to our own in appearance, because of the following features:-

(1) Head has no contracting rear stick and hence it does not fall flush and inside of the body.

(2) The rear boot is of an ugly shape and the capacity is very small. The luggage has to be loaded from inside the body.

They agree that they will produce a new design based on ours, but so far they have done no work on the Show Car and have no design. To make sure that they have the right interior dimensions, I am sending them a print of the latest Park Ward Coupe via Dr.
