Dear Sirs,

for the attention of Mr. Arrowsmith.

We are returning, under separate cover, a speedometer No: X.635 for your attention.

This instrument is rather an old one but we would like it overhauled and adjusted, at the same time altering the dial to suit a standard Bentley, the calibration figure to be 730 r.p.m. as it is at present.

We intend to use this instrument for bench testing the drives, and so will be glad if you will see that special attention is paid to the accuracy of the square portion of the spindle.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS ROYCE LTD.,
