40/50 AND BENSPORT SHUNT DYNAMO FOR VIBRATOR CONTROL.

As reported in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/KT.25.1.33., we have carried out experiments with a 40/50 dynamo modified by fitting the old standard armature having 18 conductors per slot of 17 S.W.G. wire.

It will be remembered that this armature was fitted to the first few 3rd., brush dynamos for L.H. 40/50 chassis and was subsequently superseded by the present standard armature.

The field winding consisted of 198 turns per pole of 20 S.W.G. D.C.C.

Will you please arrange to instruct three more of these dynamos to be made up as above as speedily as possible as we require these for the next Bensport chassis.

At the same time we still wish you to carry on with the Expl. 40/50 shunt dynamo as referred to in paragraph 8 of our note as we are anticipating a still further improvement in performance with that dynamos.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.
