X677 18.8.13. Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SM/L13813. We thought on receipt of the above memo referred to that you were writing under a wrong impression and also mis-understanding Sales memo to which you refer, but before writing you again communicated with Sales Dept. and our assumption appears to be correct because they say that when the chassis arrived in London there was absolutely nothing upon it to say that it was 1926. This is the point we wish to point out the seriousness of. They say there was no number plate on the front of the dashboard, as is usual, neither was there any number plate on the tremble coil box. They had to have a set stamped and fixed on the car. We shall be pleased to hear further from you. Sn.{Mr Sanderson} This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
