Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SM6/L13813. Re Chassis 1926 - Mr Johnson. X64Y. X366 D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 13-8-13. We fail to understand your memo Sn{Mr Sanderson}27/OS12813. The car had the number painted on the rear tank, and in accordance with our usual practice we wrote to Sales asking them to prepare the front number plate. They replied (C51/H30713) :- "We will keep the front number plate here "until the car comes down, when we will "fix it on as usual." We therefore repeat we cannot understand the point that Sales are raising, if they do not wish this to occur again it is for them and not for us to adopt a different procedure. The car of course travelled to London under temporary red number plates. p.
