The Associated Equipment Co. Ltd.,
Southall,
MIDDLESEX.

For the attention of Mr.G.J.Rackham.

Dear Sirs,

We are to-day despatching by passenger train two sets of main bearing blanks for you to finally machine. The bearings have been fully heat treated and therefore require no further treatment after finally machining. As mentioned in earlier correspondence we are supplying you with a new alloy which is known as AC.9.

We shall, of course, be interested in the results you obtain and would like to see the bearings when you have the engine down after giving the bearings some full load work.

Yours Faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
