Contd -2- Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}6/P28.5.19. there is just a little clearance between the fan and the radiator and that this possibly could accomodate a similar type of blind. I believe the objection to the roll top desk blind fundamentally is that it requires more power to operate it, and is therefore unsuitable for our ultimate scheme in which it is operated by thermostat. For the present chassis this objection would not carry much weight, it would certainly be better to have a hand operated shutter which cannot be converted to thermostat control, than no shutter at all.
