The Pressed Steel Co.Ltd.,
Cowley,
OXFORD.

For the attention of Dr.G.L.Kelly.

Dear Sirs,

We are now prepared to investigate the possibilities of post war products and we have full authority for that purpose.

I am writing you to reopen the contacts we had before war production submerged all else.

It is the wish of our Mr. Robotham and myself that we shall get together to discuss future products for this company.

Can you make it convenient for us to visit your plant during the first week in January?

To help you prepare some data if you so wish, I will advise you that, broadly speaking, our interests at this meeting, will be mainly concerned with the construction similar to that supplied to The Rover Co. in 1936. Prices too, must enter the discussion and our proposal is, that all figures (i.e. tools and piece prices) shall be given on a pre-war basis, because that is the only fundamentally shound base that we all know. As and when post war conditions become known we can then add agreed percentage increases if necessary and at least arrive at a fairly quick answer.

Will you please be good enough to let me know if you can comply with this arrangement and also advise me of the most convenient day for our visit.

Yours faithfully,

R.Greene.
