We have sent you the following telegram:-

"ALL MEN RETURN HOME FOR EASTER - LETTER FOLLOWING".

I obtained Hives' permission for all at Chateauroux to return for the Easter Holidays.

We are sending out Railway Vouchers for yourself, Scholes and Evans. We understand that Reid, Walsh and Gardner have return vouchers. The arrangements for your return will be as follows - you will leave Chateauroux Wednesday, March 24th. The cars that are runable you will take up to Paris and arrange with Sr. to run them if possible. The men who do not proceed by road to Paris will leave Chateauroux by the afternoon train 3.25 ? arrive Paris 7.0'clock p.m. All of you to leave Paris Wednesday night 8.55 or 7.55, arrive London Thursday morning, report at the Works Thursday noon for wages, etc. No wages will be sent out after this week. The holidays are from Thursday night, March 25th to March 30th, report at Derby Wednesday, March 31st, and be prepared to leave for Chateauroux by the 3.30.p.m. train from Derby.

Personal. If you wish to stay in London for the holidays, you are at liberty to do so, but you must report at Derby, Wednesday morning. The same applies to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Chassé. Pennal will report at Bentleys, and will meet you in London for returning.

I shall be at Kingsbury after to-day.

Enclosed are vouchers for yourself, Scholes and Evans.
