Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X(5840) To G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re Tests on 18-0-6 Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E19.6.33 E.RV.PA.{Mr Paterson}Hdv.PN.{Mr Northey} in France. Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/HJ.16.6.33 attached, would you please discuss this with PN.{Mr Northey} I am rather inclined to agree with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, namely that it does not seem worth while anybody from Sales going over to France specially to try it. At the same time I doubt very much whether it would be wise to have the car in London because, although production cars of this type are now being produced, I expect that there are quite a number of former type cars and chassis to clear up before xxxx chassis of this type reach the customer. One would imagine, therefore, that the best way would be for V.{VIENNA} to get the car back to Derby and for PN{Mr Northey} to go up and try it there if he thinks it advisable for him to do so. I am not sure whether he tried the car before it went to France, but he has of course seen all the daily reports. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Enc. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/HJ.16.6.33 | ||
