Technical - re Servos ----------- With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}11/KT.9.3.33, we are of the opinion that Ferodo Servo Liners RAD.13 are infinitely superior in every way to the Cotton A.{Mr Adams} We have never found any signs of disintegration of the RAD.13 liners, and we have now been able to see some that have been in use for approximately 6 months. These liners never appear to fray at the edges or to break up in the way that Cotton A.{Mr Adams} liners used to do. The only point is that the slightest amount of oil or grease on the surface is fatal to the efficiency of the servo, otherwise we feel that the present RAD.13 lining is satisfactory in every way.
