Bluemel Telescopic Steering Wheel.

I do not know whether you have tried this telescopic steering wheel in conjunction with the sliding seat.

We had an S.S. Jaguar here the other day, and personally I could not appreciate any advantage from the adjustable column. Mr. Summers, to whom the Jaguar belonged, said that in his opinion the adjustable column was not of the slightest use. This may be a debatable point, but we would suggest that you try the device under the conditions stated and see if you really consider it is worth pressing for.

Our Design people criticise the clip retaining the wheel, which they say will either be hard work to operate, or failing this is unlikely to hold the steering wheel securely. They furthermore point out that when the number of control tubes running through the column - as in our case - is great, the complication involved is considerable.
