X1782 To Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/EJJ. from EFC. EFC4/T19.5.28. RE WESTON DYNAMOMETER TYPE A.C. INSTRUMENT HANDED TO US FOR CORRECTION. We have duly examined this, and find that the damping vane in the air damping system has fallen off (not a very good advertisement for Messrs. Weston). The replacement of this is an instrument maker's job, and we do not care to undertake it. We suggest that Mr. Ellis would be easily capable of making a good job of this rather than going to the expense of returning the instrument to the makers. If Mr. Ellis does effect a repair, we should be pleased subsequently to check the instrument electrically. Instrument handed to you herewith. EFC. | ||
